Hedi Vallinkoski´s art deals only with the ratio of colors to each other,
ignoring any other effect than visual impact.
Color means more for the artist than a reflection of representation.
"Colors are used for representation to put themselves
into effect to express very special impressions.
The colors are the ones leaving imagination
to run wild by letting themselves take effect."
She takes her paintings very personally.
Her work is a veritable extension of herself and her vivacious abstract
paintings pour out spontanously, her natural ability for color is clear.
